Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Invoicing for Suppliers and Clients
• Completion of tax declarations (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, IES, etc.)
• VAT refund processes (national and community)
• Completion of Intrastat surveys and submissions to the Bank of Portugal
• Bank reconciliations
• Taxation
• Propose improvements and make your mark!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (certified accountant)
• a plus : if you have your accountant certification
• Previous experience in an accounting office
• Fluent in Portuguese and French (required)
• English (desirable)
• Experience with Excel and SAGE (or other software)
• Enjoyment of working in accounting offices.
