Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of backend developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring best practices in software development
  • Oversee sprint commitments and ensure project milestones are met
  • Participate in software architecture design and ensure seamless integration with monitoring and support tools
  • Develop new features and maintain existing modules, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high-quality technical documentation
  • Ensure efficient and effective testing methodologies within the team
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and introduce relevant innovations
  • Collaborate with product managers to align development strategies with business goals
  • Motivate and support team members, set clear objectives, and facilitate professional growth

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader in software development
  • 5+ years of programming experience, particularly in PHP
  • Strong expertise in Symfony (version 5 or later)
  • Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design, MVC implementation, and software architecture
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture and unit testing
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Ability to collaborate with remote engineering teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Fluent in English
